MFT Summer School Day 5 - Symmetry

Tuesday 10 July 2018
Last day of summer school and the topic is symmetry. Symmetry is probably a technique I don’t use as much as I should. I made a masculine card for this topic.

MFT Summer School Day 4 - Complimentary Colours

Complimentary colours are those that are opposite each other on the colour wheel. My favourite complimentary colour combination is purple and yellow. Of course at Christmas it is red and green but today’s card uses purple and yellow.

MFT Summer School Day 3 - Repetition

Monday 9 July 2018
One of my favourite ways to use repetition is to stamp some of the stamps in a stamp set to create my own patterned paper. This is what I have done to create my card today.

MFT Summer School Day 2 - Primary Colours

Day two of Summer school’s class was to use primary colours on your card. In case you are not familiar with these, they are red, blue and yellow. I don’t think this is ever a colour combination I would usually choose but the card turned out looking great and colourful.

MFT Summer School - Day 1 - White Space

Thursday 5 July 2018
This week I am joining in with the MFT Summer school series. The first topic of the week is white space. I admit, I don’t use this technique a lot. I love to play with different backgrounds and add lots of images to my cards.

I have used the MFT Bubble over with joy stamp and die set for my card today. I think it turned out really cute.
