Today I have made a Finnabair inspired canvas. If you have never seen any of her work, here is the link to her blog

First I covered the canvas in black gesso.
I then stuck on lots of ephemera and flowers. This is the fun part. It doesn't matter what colour they are as the next step is to cover them all in a layer of black gesso (you can also so this with white gesso).
I then sprayed it with Lindy Stamp Gang Starburst sprays. I used quite a few layers of these to get a nice coverage and shimmer. I then used gold paint to add some highlights and I was done.
