MFT Summer School Day 2 - Primary Colours

Monday, 9 July 2018
Day two of Summer school’s class was to use primary colours on your card. In case you are not familiar with these, they are red, blue and yellow. I don’t think this is ever a colour combination I would usually choose but the card turned out looking great and colourful.

I chose to use the new birds of a feather card kit to cut three birds out of the included card stock. I added some distress oxide blending to add a little depth to the birds and of course, googly eyes.

I layered three smile die cuts on top of each other to add dimension and used distress oxides to create an ombré effect on the word.

I added heaps of glitter with my Nuvo shimmer pen and completed the card with Nuvo drops and an embossed ‘it’s your birthday’ sentiment.
