Live in the Moment
Saturday, 14 May 2016
Today I am sharing a layout I have created with you. This layout has been inspired by the More than Words challenge for this month and the Words & Paintery challenge. I have combined the challenges to create an over the top layout that I can frame for my wall.
Be Happy
The canvas I have been working on this week was inspired by the dusty attic April mood board. I love the colours.

I am playing around with assemblage art at the moment. I don't think I am very good at it, which is a good excuse to make more :) AFTER all I need the practice.
May 2015 Lindy Stamp Gang Challenge
Sunday, 31 May 2015
For this month's Lindy Stamp Gang challenge I have created a Canvas incorporating some of my own handwriting.
I created the background using the Lindy Stamp gang challenge sprays. I used the embossing powder to add color to my die cut leaves. I also colored the flowers with the lindy stamp gang sprays to match the background.

Dusty Attic January Mood Board Challenge
Saturday, 31 January 2015
The January mood board challenge for dusty attic is a very peaceful, tranquil one. I worked on a canvas for this challenge with the aim of including lots of different textures and more natural elements to fit in with the theme.
Finnabair Inspired Canvas
Tuesday, 21 October 2014
Today I have made a Finnabair inspired canvas. If you have never seen any of her work, here is the link to her blog http://tworzysko.blogspot.com.au/. She is amazing.
First I covered the canvas in black gesso.
I then stuck on lots of ephemera and flowers. This is the fun part. It doesn't matter what colour they are as the next step is to cover them all in a layer of black gesso (you can also so this with white gesso).
I then sprayed it with Lindy Stamp Gang Starburst sprays. I used quite a few layers of these to get a nice coverage and shimmer. I then used gold paint to add some highlights and I was done.
Dreams come true canvas
Thursday, 25 September 2014
I have recently been able to get hold of some of the Lindy Stamp gang sprays. I love these. They are my new favourite. The starburst sprays have so much shimmer in them. It is amazing. They are also permanent once dry so you can layer on top of them.
I was looking at the Lindy stamp gang blog and decided to try entering the September colour challenge. Aren't these colours gorgeous?

For this challenge I have created a canvas piece called Dreams Come True. I am not particularly good at this layering technique yet so I keep practicing.
I have started by using a Tim Holtz scrapbook paper for the background. I applied texture paste through a circle stencil and then used the Lindy Stamp Gang sprays to build up the background. The photo doesn't show the shimmer this has.
I used the new prima glass glitter in copper and mica flakes in mulberry to add texture. I then added layers using Dusty Attic chipboard elements, Bo Bunny and Prima ephemera and flowers and more sprays to build up the layers. I like how it turned out.
The sprays that I used from Lindy Stamp Gang are:
I hope you join me in the challenge.
