Butterfly card (CYCI #104)

Today I am using the My Favourite Things Blissful Butterflies stamp set again.

I created this card based on the current Can You Case It sketch.
  1. To start, I drew a half circle on my card lightly in pencil.
  2. I carefully painted the circle with water and then painted it with various shades of pink with some white mixed in.
  3. I stamped three of the butterflies from the MFT blissful butterflies stamp set.
  4. I die cut a pinked circle from scrapbook paper by Wild Rose studio.
  5. I stamped happy birthday from the Sophie's sentiment stamp set onto purple card stock.
  6. I added outlines and details with a black fine Pitt pen.
  7. Lastly I added a clear butterfly trial with texture gems.
