Hippo Birdie

I created this fun and colourful card using the Hippo Birdie To You stamp set from Lawn Fawn. I love cute animal stamp sets.

I created the watercolour background using my kuretake gansai watercolours. I was going for a sunrise/sunset sky background.
I used the stitched landscape border to cut a green hill.
I stamped the hippo, party hat, three balloons and the bird on Ranger watercolour paper using archival ink.
I then coloured the images with my kuretake gamsai watercolours.
I die cut my images and glued them to the background.
I stamped the sentiment using archival ink onto the bottom of the card.
I mounted the card on black cardstock.
Finally I added glossy accents to the balloons.
